To have the opportunity to immerse myself in a 4-day event, all related to Genaology would be a phenomenal opportunity. I started researching the life of my Grandmother and have fallen discovered so many stories about my family. RootsTech would be a wonderful way to learn how to further deepen my research and meet like minded people.

I would love to attend the RootsTech Conference but unfortunately, the cost is too high for this pensioner. I live in Canada so the price of attendance would be more than $400 just for the conference.
I have looked at flights from Toronto which are also over $400.
I have just gotten back to researching my family tree and have hit the brick wall. I don’t know very much about my mother’s family. I get so excited when I find out any information and reading about RootsTech just blows my mind.
Can you help this pensioner get to Salt Lake City?

I’ve never attended a genealogy conference before and would love to attend. My research has been limited to online databases only and I would love to see what I could learn in person!

Oh what fun to meet up with friends and genealogy enthusiasts for a weekend of learning and research in the Mecca of family history research. A guaranteed great time! Good luck to all!!

  • Rootstech is such a great learning opportunity as well as a chance to spend time with like-minded people who are family history enthusiasts. And then there’s the blogging community, the exhibitors with their innovative products, and the family history library for research before/after RT.

  • RootsTech is an experience. It is the learning, it is the socialising (meeting new friends and old friends from all around the world), it is exploring the exhibitor hall and discovering what would be helpful for your research. And above all it is the vibe! The energy and enthusiam is like nothing I’ve experienced before … and I can’t wait. I’ll be the little jetlagged, but hyper-excited one from Australia.

I have never been to a genealogy conference but have been researching my family history since my grandparents took me to cemeteries to hunt for our family tombstones (and that was many many years ago).
    Thank you!
