  1. This will be my first RootsTech conference and I’m very excited. I am looking forward to meeting in person people whose blogs I’ve read and podcasts I’ve listened to. I’m hoping on attending lectures which will help me with my brick walls. Most importantly I am looking forward to meeting people who share my passion for family and history.

  2. I want to meet the people that created family search and ancestry and family tree maker. Plus maybe some people that can tell me why it makes sense to do the DNA stuff. Never did that before. So excited to make progress on my family tree this coming year.

  3. I’ve been doing family history for more than 15 years now and have never been able to go to RootsTech. I want to go and soak in the lectures, vendors and atmosphere! One thing I really want to do is attend intermediate/advanced classes to stretch my knowledge and add to my skills. Thank you for this opportunity.

I want to find out what I should do with all of my research, pictures, and documents. I have no children interested in Geneology/Family History but someone out there would should have access to this stuff.

Secondly, I what to know more about DNA.

  5. I want to go to Roots Tech 2019 because of the variety of classes available. Every year I have attended, I have had a different focus on my personal genealogy learning journey. This year I want to attend more DNA classes because I, personally, have been searching for a half sister; and I have been helping my cousin go thru the same process of finding her half brother and half sister. I enjoy sharing what I learn with others and watching their interest in genealogy grow.
